A bit more on the tactical side of things today. I was alerted to this color tool by team member Trevor Steinbacher. Its a great way to design and view color schemes for any design activity. It has a lot of the same features as Adobe's Kuler, but it's local and it has some extras like viewing colors through color blind simulation, work with RGB and CMYK in color managed environment, analyze contrast and readability, preview colors in layouts, and variations palette for finding similar color options. Also available for Mac and PC.

This is a great tool. I use it almost everyday. Thanks for mentioning it – I was hoping to keep it a secret.

I love this! Thanks for sharing! I think its amazing how a family of color results are so similar to the phrase that generated it...
